Melissa Schneider, MD, PC is a Harvard-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over 25 years of experience, serving men and women in Boston, Massachusetts. In her private practice, she specializes in same-day, noninvasive procedures that improve your skin without the need for incisions, stitches, or downtime.
She is sought after for her extensive experience and expertise with innovative and time-tested aesthetic procedures like VivaceⓇ, Clear and BrilliantⓇ, BOTOXⓇ, Intense Pulsed Light PhotofacialsⓇ, fractionated laser therapy, ThermageⓇ, CoolSculptingⓇ, and dermal fillers. Each service is customized to stall the aging process and reverse years of sun damage.
Dr. Schneider’s goal is to help rejuvenate and refresh skin in a natural way so that her patients look like they have just returned from a relaxing two-week vacation. “I think many of yesterday’s procedures overreached, trying to make people look dramatically younger, but not always in a natural fashion.”
She is a Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude graduate of Hamilton College and an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine. She completed her General Surgery residency at Seattle’s Virginia Mason Medical Center and followed with a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital.
As an outstanding researcher, Dr. Schneider has also been a recipient of several prestigious awards, including Sigma XI, Psi Chi, and the FB Skinner Award.
